We've decided to rent the Red Cabin on Des Moines Lake this summer. We will be out of the area most of the season and will be unable to enjoy it ourselves.
It is a two bedroom cabin with a dramatic views of the lake from the sunporch. The elevated concrete patio is right at the lake's edge.
Ammenities include:

Great room with the original 1930's log walls
Rustic fir wood floors in living, dining, and kitchen areas
Twin skylights providing good light to the interior
Kitchen including refrigerator, electric range, microwave, and dishwasher
French doors opening to the sunporch

Two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed
Two bathrooms, a 3/4 bath with shower and

We prefer to rent the cabin for the season - May through September - but will consider monthly rentals if we do not find a seasonal renter by March 1. Rates are as follows:

The rental includes electric utility. A covered boat lift suitable for runabouts up to 18 ft in length is available with the cabin rental for an additional $100/month. No other services are provided. Renter provides sheets, towels, laundry, garbage service and replacement propane for gas grill. Small well-behaved pets are negotiable. Renter is responsible for exit cleaning.
